My Story

Hi there. I’m Jerry. I’ve decided to give you a little tidbit about myself and why I recommend this product because it’s nice to know someone you’re buying from.
I grew up in a small farming community. This was back quite a few years ago when the average farm was about 160 acres, you milked about 40 head of predominantly holstein cows where I come from, and I had seven brothers and sisters. Most of our neighbors were farmers. I worked on most of their farms at one point or another growing up. One of our neighbors had a hog operation that I worked at for a couple of years. I got to be the” go to” guy around the neighborhood when it came time for baling hay. I didn’t mind, though, because they fed me great and paid me when I was done. Growing up in a large family if you wanted anything extra you had to buy it yourself. I grew up learning how to work hard and hung on to that philosophy as I got older. I got into construction in high school and spent the next thirty five years doing that. I owned my own small contracting business for over 20 years. I have seen the changes in farming over the last couple of decades, mainly because I still live in the same area.
The days of the family dairy farm are long gone. They were taken over by larger crop farming. Now you can’t even turn the tractor around on that same chunk of land many people raised large families on. I still have many friends that are farmers. They either went big running thousands of acres or stayed smaller by getting into a paricular niche segment of farming. I have two friends that are still on the original family dairy farm but got into organic milk. They can still make good money providing a great product without going huge. When you really look around you can see a growing segment of niche farming. How about your local farmers market? How much has that grown in the last few years?
People are trying to find more profitable ways to earn money on a smaller expanse of land or be able to incorporate another aspect into their already existing farm.
That’s why I was so intrigued by the prospect of raising meat goats. What the heck is a meat goat? And why a boer goat? Where I grew up I never heard of anything like that in my life. When I started researching I discovered a lot of things I didn’t know about raising boer goats. It’s easy to do when you know nothing. I didn’t know about the huge market for goat meat on the worldwide level.
I do know about the farmers trying to live off the land and looking for different ideas as to how to go about it. They are my neighbors. I still live in the country but I am not a farmer. I’m an internet marketer and my job now is to help people connect to the information they are searching for on the internet. If you’re here because you were looking for information on the boer goat you’ve come to the right spot for me to connect you up with a great guide on raising boer goats.
